Why choose it

Connects to a repeated customer pain: odors return when humidity or warmth comes back.

Clear routine. Lower chemical load. Built for repeat cleaning.

Deep Cleaning for Fabrics. Lasting Freshness That Survives the Next Use.

Carpets, upholstery, mattresses, and curtains are the soft furnishings that absorb the most bacteria, allergens, and odour — and are the hardest to clean properly. Chemical textile cleaners strip the surface but leave the deeper contamination behind. Sanitify Probiotic Textile Cleaner penetrates fabric fibres with probiotic cultures that digest organic residue at depth, eliminating odour at source and leaving a 72-hour protective layer throughout the entire textile.

What Standard Textile Cleaners Miss

Odour at Source

Textile odour lives deep in fibre — in the organic residue (sweat, food, pet matter) that bacteria feed on. Probiotic enzymes digest this residue completely rather than masking the smell.

Allergen Reduction

Beneficial bacteria consume the organic material that dust mites and allergen-producing organisms depend on — reducing allergen load in mattresses and carpets over time.

Pet Contamination

Specifically effective on pet odour and pet-borne bacteria in soft furnishings. Probiotic cultures neutralise the uric acid compounds that give pet accidents their persistent smell.

Mold in Upholstery

Probiotic cultures suppress mold spore germination in damp upholstery, mattress edges, and curtain hems — the hidden mold problem in humid rooms.

How to Use

1

Dilute & Spray

Mix 30–50ml concentrate per 500ml water. Spray evenly over the textile surface. For mattresses and heavy upholstery, apply generously to ensure deep penetration.

2

Agitate

Gently work the solution into the fabric with a brush or cloth. This helps the probiotic solution reach deeper fibre layers where contamination concentrates.

3

Allow to Dry

Allow natural air drying. Do not rinse — the probiotic cultures need to remain in the fabric to complete their 72-hour protective cycle. Ventilate the room during drying.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The Sanitify Probiotic Textile Cleaner is allergen-free, fragrance-free, and contains no bleach, synthetic biocides, or volatile chemical compounds. Once applied and allowed to air dry, the surface is safe for direct skin contact. The product is specifically suitable for mattress hygiene treatment, including removing sweat residue, reducing dust mite populations (by eliminating the organic matter they feed on), and suppressing the mold growth that can occur in mattress materials in humid bedrooms. Allow the mattress to dry completely before use — typically 2–4 hours with adequate ventilation.
Pet urine odour is notoriously difficult to eliminate because the primary odour compound — uric acid — is not water-soluble and is not broken down by standard cleaners or enzymatic products alone. The Sanitify Probiotic Textile Cleaner contains Bacillus strains that produce urease enzymes, which specifically break down uric acid into odourless compounds. For fresh accidents, one application is typically sufficient. For older, set-in pet urine stains, apply generously, agitate into the fibre with a brush, and allow a longer dwell time (overnight if possible) before blotting. Two applications may be needed for heavily contaminated areas.
The Sanitify Probiotic Textile Cleaner can be used in carpet cleaning machines (wet extraction/shampoo machines) at 1:20 to 1:30 dilution. Add the diluted concentrate to the clean water reservoir and proceed as normal. Note that the probiotic protection is partially reduced by the hot water extraction process — for maximum 72-hour protection, a final spray application of diluted concentrate (without extraction) after machine cleaning provides the best results. The product is not formulated for use with high-temperature steam cleaners, as temperatures above 70°C may reduce probiotic viability.
Yes — indirectly but meaningfully. Dust mites feed on shed human skin cells, pet dander, and organic residue that accumulates in mattresses, carpets, and upholstery. The Sanitify Probiotic Textile Cleaner deploys beneficial bacteria that consume this organic debris at depth within the fabric fibres, reducing the food supply available to dust mites. Regular probiotic treatment of mattresses, carpets, and soft furnishings can lead to a measurable reduction in dust mite populations over 4–8 weeks — making it a meaningful complementary strategy for allergy management alongside regular washing and vacuuming.
