This concentrate is stronger than our ready-diluted spray, so treat it with the same care as any descaling product: keep it away from children, avoid contact with eyes, and use gloves when handling it undiluted. It's still an organic-salt formula rather than a mineral acid like hydrochloric (muriatic) acid — no fumes at room temperature, and it doesn't corrode metal fittings the way stronger household acids do. Dilute to the ratio on the label before general use.
It depends on the job — the dilution ratio is printed on the bottle, and light limescale maintenance stretches it much further than heavy mold or rust removal. Either way, one bottle of concentrate goes further than buying the equivalent pre-mixed bottles individually.
Avoid natural marble and polished limestone — the acid will etch and dull the polished finish permanently. Do not use on untreated aluminium (risk of pitting with prolonged contact), painted surfaces (may affect paint adhesion), or rusted metal you want to preserve intact. For those surfaces, use the Sanitify Probiotic Universal Cleaner instead. For ceramic, porcelain, glass, stainless steel, chrome, plastic and PVC, it's safe once diluted per the label.
