Always use the acid cleaner first, then follow with the probiotic cleaner. The acid cleaner (Step 1) removes mineral deposits, mold, rust, and organic build-up — creating a clean surface. The probiotic cleaner (Step 2) is then applied to the same freshly cleaned surface, where the beneficial bacteria colonise the micro-pores and create a 72-hour protective layer.
